Residency Verification for NEW Students

All new students to District 92, including transferring students and new kindergarten students will have to prove residency. Once you have completed your New Student Registration online you will be provided a link to set up a residency appointment.

Residency Verification for RETURNING Students 

The district has partnered with CLEAR, a third party, to assist with the residency verification processes.  As we transition to the new process, it may be necessary for families to share documentation.  The district will only contact families that need to produce proof of residency. If you do not hear from the district office there is no action to take. Contact will be by phone or email.

To prove residency you will be asked to provide the following: 

CATEGORY A (One Document Needed)                                

• Current Real Estate Tax Bill (Homeowner)
• Current Signed Lease
• Closing Statement for the Purchase of a Home in District 92
• Residency Form
• Proof of Residency Third Party Affidavit (must be notarized)

CATEGORY B (Two Documents Needed) Must Display District 92 Address

• Gas Bill
• Bank Statement
• Credit Card Statement
• Electric Bill
• Public Aid Card
• Water/Sewer/Trash Bill
• Driver’s License/State ID
• Phone Bill
• Cable Bill
• Voter Registration Card
• Vehicle Registration
• Home/Apartment Insurance Certificate
