Dear Parents/Guardians:
Report cards went home last month, and you can all be proud of the progress your child has made. If you have any questions about your child’s education, please contact your teacher. Good communication is important in working together to help our children succeed!
February 3rd will mark our 100th day of school. This is a fun-filled day with many counting games and surprises. Our teachers do such a wonderful job putting this event together, and we thank them for all their hard work. Our Valentine’s Day parties will be held on February 14th. Please remember we are a “no food” treat school when sending in valentines. We will also have a couple of days off in February, some spirit days, and some fun PFA events. One of those PFA sponsored events is the assembly on the 16th. AcRock will be back for a repeat performance from last year! This is a morning only assembly, but there will be another popular assembly in March that our afternoon students will just love! Please make sure to check our calendar for those special days and times.
Registration for students entering kindergarten for the 2012/2013 school year has been set for April 18th and 19th. Look for more details coming home soon.
Lastly, if you have never attended before, you are missing out on a fun evening that is sponsored by our PFA. The annual dinner dance will be held at Broken Arrow on March 10th. It is an evening of great food, great music and the excitement of silent and live auctions! Consider planning an evening out with friends or family in support of our parent faculty association and all the work they do for us. More information will be coming home soon.
