Each year Ludwig School participates in a variety of events and special projects to help enrich the student experience.
We kick off each year with our annual Magazine Drive and Book Fair. Our Book Fair provides funds that are used to purchase books, magazines, and tech support for our Media Center.
With help from the Lockport Police Dept., the 5th Graders here at Ludwig go through G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training) with a special graduation ceremony for the 5th graders each year.

Our Red Ribbon Week activities focus student awareness on the dangers of drug use. Among the various activities is the door/poster decorating contest, daily drawings, and more.
Ludwig also offers a variety of special activities such as Young Authors and our annual Spelling Bee.

Each year our music department provides us with 4th and 5th grade concerts, a 5th band recital and a 3rd-5th choir performance.

Helping others is an ongoing commitment at Ludwig School and our school mentors do a great job. Our Ludwig mentors host several community-based collections that include a book drive (Book Worm Angels) and 100 day food collection with donations going to our local food pantry.

Our Physical Education department sponsors the "Jump Rope for Hearts" with donations going to the American Heart Association.
A very popular event amongst the students is our annual Career Day. Each year we were host 16-17 presenters creating a wonderful day where students can ask questions and experience a variety of career choices.

Our year culminates with "Game Day." Students participate in activities and games for an entire day. The day includes: indoor activities, games, lunch, DJ and Dance, outside sports activities, movies, crafts and more!
